You want to experience the West of Africa, the people and their everyday life, then you must leave the beach and undertake a journey. We have summarized our experiences in programs in which you get to know Gambia and its people – and above all the everyday life of women. Of course, we also visit the touristic highlights, you can let your soul dangle, the participants learn a lot about the real life in this small country at the long river: “Women in Africa”…. and: the program is not only intended for women.
Besides these more extensive excursions we can also organise shorter excursions or workshops – classical batik, dance or drum lessons, jewellery making, concerts or a herbal excursion, visits to other social projects, discussion forums with women from our projects etc. – according to personal wishes. Most unusual so far has been the wish of guests to learn how to lay the traditional broken tiles here in Gambia.
