In the Art Garden of Mama Africa you will find nine guesthouses – arranged as in a local village around the so called “Bantaba”, the traditional center of the villages and in this case it is the centre of the Art Residence. The “Bantaba” is the meeting place for our guests, sitting relaxed together and let the day end comfortably.
The guest houses are all different and very creatively equipped and impress with their size and the imaginative furnishing – complemented by works of art. The rooms, with their size, height and the wonderful views through the large windows, stimulates for many inspirng moments – unlike in the square boxes of many other hotels. Large and comfortable specially designed double beds with mosquito nets and a modern comfortable bathroom with shower are a matter of course. Once a day the room is cleaned and prepared by our friendly staff.
We consciously do without air conditioning because the breeze brings natural fresh air from the ocean, and we also abandon a TV in the room, because our guests prefer art and culture, nature and enjoyment, stress-free relaxation and unique experiences. We try to operate the place as environmental friendly as possible.
